Of late, there have been too many news about hackers exploiting the vulnerabilities of Oracle and MS SQL Server - a majority of these issues have been because of the SQL injection attacks i.e. bad application and DB programming issues and some of the issues have been because of poor configuration or poor password choices which have been hacked.

Speaking of raising the bar on virtualization, the new upgrade for Parallels 3 includes support for Windows Vista SP1 and Windows XP SP3 along with a few needed performance improvements. Like most mornings I was reading the wall street journal, a favorite news paper in my home. I skimmed through some sections but came to a small diagram on the front of the Marketplace section. I noticed the word “ gurus” so I looked. I saw a list of 5 gurus, in their own one respected field.
