Since John McCain insinuated that federal money spent in Louisiana isn’t being spent properly, but provided no evidence of misuse of funds, will he now condemn the Army Corps of Engineer’s criminally negligent oversight of contractors who, in at least one instance investigated by WWL TV News, stuffed newspaper into levee wall joints in clear violation of its repair contract?
